Boots!
My son loves Boots and I was really excited to find a doll on Amazon because I've never seen one in any toy store. Boots showed up and my son couldn't be happier. He was a little smaller than I anticipated, but it's an exact match to what Boots would look like in real life.

Great toy...but a bit small
My 20 month old daughter LOVES Dora the Explorer...especially Boots. So when I saw this toy, I jumped to buy it for her. As soon as I opened the box, I was disappointed to see how small it was. It is approximately 5 inches tall. The description for this toy does not mention the size. However, it turned out that it was the perfect size for my small daughter. She likes to throw it around and play catch with it so it's a perfect size for that. It looks just like the character and my daughter often points to Boots on TV while holding her Boots doll.

Granddaughter's gift
My granddaughter loves Dora and Boots but she doesn't seem to want to play with Boots too often-maybe it is the size but it may be her age. I will keep it with her toys for awhile and see what happens.

Boots what a cutie!
My two year old daughter loves this little guy! He is the perfect size for the Dora doll she received for Christmas. I have found it hard to find a boots plush toy in the "regular stores" like Target and Kmart. (I refuse to lower myself to shop Hillbilly heaven AKA Walmart) YUK!
Anyway, the toy is great and looks exactly as the little guy on T.V.

My 2 1/2 yr old daughter got this doll from the Easter bunny and she loves it. She takes Boots everywhere. He looks just like the character on Dora the Explorer.

we love Elmo
How could you not love Elmo. Everyone I know that sees it loves this to, even people with no kids.

Great Toy but unreliable electronics
It stopped working after one year of purchase. First thought it was the batteries but putting new batteries did not do anything. Anyway my 2 year old still likes to hold it and play. So its not a total waste. I just feel sad after the lengths I went to get it at the time!!!

More fun for adults!
My 3 and 4 year old daughters received this for Christmas. I thought they'd love it...and they did for about 4 plays of it. Then it was old news and that has pretty much been the end of it. I think my adult friends have had more fun watching it and giggling along with it. It is not "cuddly" so my girls don't carry it around much. Once you have seen it go through it's paces - it is a bit boring and not much "fun" value for the price tag. I think they would have enjoyed a cheaper, plush elmo more.

Must buy toy for boy or girl!!!
This product is not only safe for your child it is fun and entertaining. The one I purchased a month ago is still running on the original batteries that the toy came with and it is played with on a daily basis. I recommend all of the Elmo toys as they are all built to last and endure a demanding child's play session.

TMX Elmo will make anyone laugh!
This toy is great! I purchased it for a mother's day gift. It was a hit! We laughed with Elmo all day. I think this toy would brighten anyone's day regardless of age or gender!

fun "animated" Giselle
This doll recaptures the charm from the animated Andalasian segments of Disney's hit movie "Enchanted". The character of Giselle comes dressed in her long pink gown with flouncy white off-the-shoulder collar. A wreath of flowers sits atop her long strawberry blonde hair.
Unlike the 'Fairytale Wedding' Giselle doll (which has a realistic face sculpted in the likeness of actress Amy Adams), this doll's head is molded to resemble the animated version of the character; so everything is larger than life. She's one of the nicest Disney dolls I've seen in a white.
Definitely one for the Disney fanatic in your life!

Disney Enchanted Giselle Doll
The Disney Enchanted Giselle Doll is somewhat plain, but simple. My daughter loves playing with her and acting out the characters role with all her other princess that she owns. I like the fact that she isn't too glamorous. Great doll.

Perfect Giselle doll
My six year old kept asking for the Giselle doll with the pink dress. I had seen Giselle in the white ball gown, but had difficulty finding Giselle with the pink dress, and was thrilled to find her on Amazon. My daughter loves this doll, and plays with her and the Robert doll constantly.

Very cute doll
This doll is one of the nicest-looking fashion dolls I have seen in a while. My daughter loves Barbie and the Disney Princesses, but this doll is cuter than any of those. This version of the Andalasia Giselle (the animated portion of the movie Enchanted) has a cartoon-like quality that is a very refreshing departure from the Barbie look. My daughter is thrilled that she looks just like the animated Giselle from the movie. My daughter is very happy with this doll.

Question : If at present a toy company would manufacture plush toys of the chipmunks,do you think it would sell big?
Just asking. I've researched about these toys of the Chipmunks over the net. I've found out that they were a big seller in the 80's. The toys were manufactured by the IDEAL company. At present, since the new movie had come out, do you think it would sell big?
By the way, is the toy manufacturing company, Ideal, still alive?
Answer:
No, one movie would not have the same mass marketing affect on children as 8 years of a super popular Saturday morning cartoon would.
And no Ideal closed after being sold to CBS who shut itself down probably around 82-83

Question : Where can I find out how to make my own plastic/plush toys?
i'm curious as to how i go about actually making prototypes of toys, plastic figurines or plush. and hopefully selling them online at a site or two. my inspiration for this: Ugly Dolls, Kid Robot, Happy Tree Friends... etc etc
Answer:
Are you a sculptor or idea person? You may try to develop your own prototype. Do this in your home. Learn about silicone molding, poly- resins,paint mastering and master tooling. These are steps taken in getting products made in large amounts from the orient. Or find yourself an artist who can help develop your ideas in a prototype fashion.

Question : Are there some kind of insects or larvae (or eggs) that make their home in the stuffing of cheap plush toys?
A cousin of mine sells for a novelty toy company. One of her perspective clients noticed some dark granules in the folds of one of her plush toys and stated, "These are eggs." When my cousin asked what she meant, she told her it was common to find them in the stuffing of toys made in Asia, especially China, that it was a sign of a cheaply made toy and that they "were harmless". My cousin took her concern to her manager, but was given no answer. Is this statement about "eggs" true? If so, what kind of eggs are they? Do I need to go through my son's toys and look for these eggs?

Question : Why do most plush toys say to "surface wash only"?
I understand when there are electrical components or some obvious thing that would break if submerged in water. But, why can't just a plain old stuffed toy be washed in the washing machine? I have to say I have gone against this advice a few times when the toy wasn't super important yet awfully dirty and they turned out just fine. Anyone know why this is recommended?

I don't know why either. I throw all my daughter's stuffed animals in the washing machine, and they're always fine.

Question : How do I clean my child's soft plush toys?
I have a 2 year old girl and a baby on the way. I want to wash my daughter's soft toys so that they are clean for the baby. Most of them say on label "surface washable only". Do you think I could still put them in the washing machine on gentle cycle? A friend thinks this will be ok if I put them in pillowcases first. Has anyone else done this? Do you have any other suggestions for cleaning them?
Answer:
I have washed them before...just make sure you extract the water out really well (put it on a regular spin cycle rather than the 'gentle' spin cycle)... then I hang them up to dry.

Question : Can anyone recommend an indestructable plush dog toys?
My dog Natsha loves plush, squeaky toys, but I have yet to find a toy that could withstand her teeth. She is an older dog, but must have teeth as solid as Stonehenge, because she destroys her toys within 5-10 minutes.
She has toys like Kongs and things like that, but she doesn't like them as well as she does the squeaky toys.
