Legs are no longer rubber

I just bought this Barbie from Walmart for much cheaper. The only reason I'm not completely upset over this is because of the very small price I paid for it. But Barbie no longer has the sturdy rubber legs like she normally had. Her legs are plastic. A plastic that is a little thicker than those cheap dollar store dolls but still plastic.

Im disappointed in Barbie for the fact that this is the second Barbie I have bought in the past week and found it to have plastic legs. I guess they are cutting back on costs.

Redo of the 1970s Superstar Barbie

This is the next in the series of reinventing the older popular Barbie dolls. The original striped swimsuit doll was redone earlier this year and now this is a modern reinterpretation of the 1970s Superstar doll (that mattel also rereleased as part of the 50th anniversary celebration this year): [...]

The really fun thing about this doll is that it is a companion for those moms who have the original or reissue 1977 doll. Mom can have her original and her daughter can have the 2010 version to collect and keep as well. They make nice companion pieces about how times have changed.

I feel the plastic legs do complement the original 1977 doll. And the face and hair are definitely reminiscent of the original doll. The price is right on these and I feel Mattel did a much better job with this particular reinterpretation than the did with the original black and white swimsuit doll. It does feel very 2010 but also retains the sweetness of those 1970s dolls.

Great buy, Awesome deal!

I bought this for my daughter's birthday when it was only $3.00 plus free shipping with Prime and at that price I can give it nothing less than 5 stars! It's a Barbie and leaps and bounds better in quality than the cheap dollar store knock off's. Another fine addition to my daughter obsessive Barbie collection. :P

Max & Ruby Rock

My 4 year old grand daughter watches Max & Ruby on TV just about everyday. I bought this pair for her so she could play with them while watching the show. She has a lot of fun pretending they are alive. No rough play, so they should last. This was a good deal with the free shipping.

You get exactly what is shown! I love them.

The Max and Ruby Beanie Baby's we exactly what I was looking for as an Easter Present. They were a great price and were shipped faster than expected!

Max and Ruby Plush

The Max and Ruby plush are from TY. My 3 1/2 year old son loves them. They are typical of other TY Beanie Babies in size and feel. I would say that for the price in comparison to other Bean Bag plush these would compare in price and overall build.

Great Dolls.

My daughter is in love with Max and Ruby. She loves having the little dolls while she reads her pop-up book. They look exactly like the characters in the show.

Repackaged Recon

Turns out that this Nerf gun has nearly the same internals as a Recon CS-6, but a higher price tag. The plunger system is the same, and it has a bolt action instead of a slide. a good gun, but you may just want a Recon instead.

Rating :

Great fun!

Bought this for my son. He absolutely has a blast with it. No problems with breakage or anything like that.

Longstrike falls short

The only two things I really cared about were accuracy and range. Out of the box the range was about 15 feet. Accuracy is good up to about 12 feet. To get a range beyond 15 or so feet, I'd have to be shooting down a well. Not at all as good as they advertised it as being.

Rating :

Longstrike is so much cooler than previous models

The Longstrike is way cooler than previous nerf models, and the added bonus is that you can store clips in the stock. It looks more like an actual rifle, and is considerably lighter than the longshot. Only complaint is that once you put the stock on, you can't take it off like with the Recon. Not really worth more than (...) dollars, but I bought it because it looked really cool and I love collecting nerf guns. It fires better without the barrel, but don't worry it still comes off. This blaster works with the raider drum, and is compatible with the nerf bandolier.

Rating :

worst gun ever

when i bought this gun i was excited. It had looks, style, everything; except that normal nerf guns can actually propel a dart more than 2 feet before plummeting to the ground.this gun cost 30.00$ and it couldn't even hit a target from point blank range. if you get this gun, take the time to modify it before assembling it.

The falling water action from this Waterwheel Play Table encourages creative exploration with cause and effect learning. This imaginative water play center encourages hours of outdoor fun. Pour water into the wide funnel, and activate the water wheel which then spills into the inner and outer harbors. Two molded-in sections function as canals, boats, lakes, harbors and more. An elevated design keeps water at toddler level and also keeps ground dirt clear of water and mud from forming on children's feet. It accommodates up to three children to encourage group play. Two built-in drain plugs allow for easy water removal. The four piece accessory set includes: one cup, two sailboats, and one water wheel tower. Features decorative molded-in fish designs on legs. It can holds up to four gallons of water.

Customer Review :

Love This Water Table!

I looked long and hard for a great water table and this one meets all our needs and then some. We've used it outside (all Summer long and even took it to a Fourth of July celebration where it was a huge hit) and even use it inside in the winter. We've filled it with water, goo, cotton balls, etc. Our toddler son adores this and so do all his little friends.

Rating :

fun water table

My one year old son got this for his 1st birthday. It was a rainy day so we set it up in our kitchen. He played there for over an hour (his attention span is not normally that long) along with his two big sisters (ages 6 and 8). I think they had just as much fun as he did. I think it will last a long time and will be a great thing for them to play with when the weather warms up. My only thing is that I wish it had a cover to keep bugs out when not in use. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Best money EVER spent

We got this table when my daughter was not even walking yet and she pulled herself up on it. She is going to be 3 this May and still LOVES this table. Besides being fantastic to fill up on the front porch in the summer time and let her have at it, I also use it in the winter - I put it in the kitchen and fill it with either rice or sudsy water. Sure she gets some on the floor, but it sweeps/vacuums up easily, and you just put a bucket under the drain plugs to empty it. Awesome for a snowed-in day! I would completely recommend this for anyone!

Rating :

Good Value

I love Step 2 products. They are sturdy and are a great value in my opinion. This table was a steal for twenty-eight bucks and I highly recommend it to others. It can be used inside (with toys, not water) and outside (with water) for optimal fun! Great way to get a water toy that the dogs can't play in too!

Eggsellent!

I gave this to a friend's 18 month-old little boy as a gift.

The eggs come apart and fit back together again, then they fit in the carton.

He loves it.

Returned with hope of finding a better item...

This toy may be 10 minutes of fun for a one-year-old. I purchased these to supplement a play food set for my child, and several features could be improved: the squeak is only mildly noticeable on some eggs. I also find it strange that the chicks are blue, orange, and purple. There is no challenge to opening the eggs, the top shells simply fall off. The sorting shapes are relief-carved into the bottom of the carton and difficult to see, some contrasting color to highlight the shapes would be better. Overpriced for its limited usefulness; save your $$ for a better item.

So Simple but So Much Fun!

I have triplets and finding toys they can all play with and love is difficult. These little eggs are by far one of our favorite toys! I bought them when the kids were about 11 months. At first they just had fun taking them out and making them squeak. It wasn't long before they were fitting the tops on the eggs. At 18 months, they still LOVE their "eggs". They recently discovered if they hold down the egg and blow into the shape side of the shell, they can make them whistle. I'm pretty sure this isn't a design of the toy but is a huge bonus! They also now match up the shapes on the shells with the shapes in the carton. Honestly, to date this is the best money I've ever spent on a toy for my kids. I highly recommend it to all my friends. So simple but so much fun!

Love this toy!

I bought this toy for my 3 1/2 year old because she saw it on a baby einstein video and insisted she wanted it. She loves it, and my 17 1/2 month old loves it too! The eggs have shapes on the bottom so you have to match shapes to fit them in the carton. It is a precious toy. I highly recommend it!

Our daughter loves it!

I bought the toy after reading some of the reviews here. I was not disappointed. Our 15 m.o. daughter loves it and spends loads of time opening and closing the eggs and putting them into their container. However her twin brother loses interested easily, as he does with many of his toys.
I agree with another reviewer that the egg container is hard to open, and concur that the manufacturer should make it easier.
NOTE: I only gave it "3 stars" for its educational value; however, when I submitted the review my rating was changed to "5 stars," and I cannot correct it.

Questions & Answers
Question : How do PharmD students pull of a 2+4 year plan?
Most pharmacy schools require 60+ semester credits of prerequisite classes to go on to 4 years of pharmacy school. That would mean you need to obtain that much in 2 years of college.Does this mean I have to take almost a full load every semester of college to obtain that many credits?? (I was told not to do this, as many students cannot handle this) Or is there another way? any additional help or info is appreciated!

Answer:
I did it without summers because I had 20 hours of AP credit. Others did it by taking summers. I had 15-17 hours each semester. Not taking a full load is a negative in terms of admissions. They like to see that you can handle a full load. In pharmacy, I had 15-20 hours per semester.

Question : Getting an MBA after 2-4 years of work, should I tell the hiring company?
I will be graduating this May with a BS in mechanical engineering. I plan to get 2-4 years of work experience and then go back to school for an MBA. If I were to tell this to hiring companies, would they be less likely to want to hire me? I've already taken the GMAT and scored a 660, which should be high enough to get me into one of the top 50 MBA programs in the U.S. Thank you in advance for the assistance!I've read that most of the upper level MBA programs and many companies want to see that you had some experience before getting an MBA. At any rate, I'm past the point of no return and need to get a job at this point.

Answer:
If you need the 2-4 years of work for financial reasons then I understand, but why not get the MBA right after you graduate? You'd be COMPLETELY done school and you would probably get a better job with a higher salary right out of school.

Question : What will happen to the equity of your house by 2-4 years from now if the home was loan modified today?
Example: Previous value of house $300K and currently paying in mortgage, current value $200K and applied for loan modification, after 2-4 years from now $400K. Will the $200K additional value be considered as equity or AUTOMATICALLY be added in the owners debt/mortgage?

Answer:
None of the above.Equity is the current fair market value minus the remaining debt.Since the fair market value will change due to outside forces, you cannot predict what the equity will look like in the future.Even if the house value climbs from $200K to $400K and the equity changes from negative $100K to $100K, the loan balance is UNAFFECTED.The reason you get a loan modification has relatively nothing to do with the FMV. It has to do with your ability to pay the loan as you originally agreed to do. The problem with dropping housing prices is that people who lost their jobs discovered they couldn't sell or refinance. If you get a loan modification and now will pay 5 years longer on the loan, your equity position will be less than someone who never had their loan modified.

Question : Is it mostly possible to finish a 4 year univ. degree in 2 years?
Im running on time and if I could finish my upcomming entry into Criminology in 2 rather than 4 years it would REALLY support me.

Answer:
Hi John,You will have to read your university's policy regarding academic loads and credits needed for graduation. Assuming your university requires 128 credit hours for graduation and operates a two semester + summer school then you would need to carry 29 credit hours per semester + 6 credit hours during each of the two summers you are in school in order to graduate in two years. This works out to 10 - 3 credit hour classes. Typically most universities that I am familiar with will restrict your academic load to 18 credit hours and then requiring to apply to take more. Usually they will only allow you to take more if you have a high GPA and can demonstrate that you could handle such a rigorous schedule. The question is not if you can do a four year degree in two years but if the university will allow it. My "gut" feeling says they probably will not allow it. However you could potentially do it in three years by taking 18 - 19 credit hours per semester and 6 credit hours during each year of the three years you attend summer school. So to answer your question it is in theory possible to complete a four year degree in two but three years is more realistic.

Question : I work for a company 4 2 years. I failed 3 test since & for that i will get fired. Am i qualified 4 unemploym
I've been working for a tech company for over 2 years and the protocal is after 3 failed test we will get terminated. Their tests are checking out our work. I failed on a minor issue that wouldnt prevent my job to be complete, however, it wasnt perfect. My concern is if I will be qualified for unemployment benifits if I happen to get fired. I have a family and can't afford to be jobless.

Answer:
yea... that may be the only thing.

Question : Why do many employers require 2-4 years of relevant work experience for entry level jobs?
It seems every entry level job requires you to have work experience!? So for 2009 college grads like me who havent been in the job market yet there is onyl a handful of jobs. Employers look at my resume see I havent had a job in the industry yet (I have had related internships) and I dont get an interview!

Answer:
They want someone else to do the job of training for them. Which is a huge mistake. They could get a great worker and train them on the job. And maybe earn that person's loyalty for years and years..I want you to apply anyway. Tell them that you will learn 2 years in 2 months if they hire you..

Question : Im 18 and I recently bought $1200 in Citi Stock, where do you expect it to be in 2-4 years?
Im young and don't mind taking risks. I just want to know the odds of this risk and what you expect the value of Citi to be in 2-4 years.

Answer:
I would have invested in something that had a clearer future. However, I believe Citi only has a $4 value in stock right now so it could very well go up. If I were you, I would sell the stock if it ever reaches $25 because you would make $6300 off of the cheap investment and there is a good chance Citi could fall apart due to the nationalization of the banks. Due to volatility, the stock of Citi could become a penny stock under $1 this year if things don't go well. As investing always is, there is a risk in this investment but you should make some money off of it.

Question : How much should I charge for babysitting two children (2 and 4 years old)?
My former teacher asked me if I would babysit his kids. I'm not sure how much I should ask him to pay me; he has a 2 year old son and a 4 year old daughter. Any input would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Answer:
My sister-in-law has a baby sitter that baby sits everyday except weekends and she pays her $25 a day..And she is 3 years old..So maybe ask like 35? And it also depends on if the kids were good or bad..If they are bad charge more..If they are good go kinda cheap..I hope i helped :)

Question : Is Dating Older Women bad, I'm 18 Years Old But I like Women who are usually 2-4 Years Older?
All the Girls I like, Or who I feel attracted to me Are usually always 2-4 years older than me, Is that ok?

Answer:
Heck yeah, why not?!

Question : Is it possible to become a Navy Seal even if i have smoked for 2-4 years?
i smoked for 2-4 years and i quit about a year ago. im getting very fit now and my lungs feel good as new. is it possible that i could still get up to the requirments to pass the fitness screening?

Answer:
Becoming SEAL isn't like passing a test in high school. Yeah here are minimum standards, but it's also competitive. You're competing for every man in the class. They don't want 100%. Any bonehead can give that. They want 150% for five days straight, and 200% for the next two... and then do it again the next week.Nobody can tell you whether or not you can do anything. You make the decision. You put forth the effort. You know if you're doing you best. You know if you're pushing yourself. If you can't make the decision... if you can't put forth the effort... if you don't do your best... if you don't push yourself... the point is moot. You're not going to make it.
