Question : 18 years Why did it take so long to make Indiana Jones: The Secret of the Crystal Skull
I saw the movie and loved it was, awsome but what worried me is that if they make a new movie in about 2 or 3 years (due to special effects) that Ford (actor of Jones) would be to old to be in the next movie. SO WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG TO MAKE THE 4th MOVIE

In a recent interview with Speilberg, he said that basically he had no intentions to make this fourth film, cause as he saw it... in the third he had Indie, his dad and their companions riding literally off into the sunrise so ... he thought that would be the end of it.. But then he'd always get questions from people about when the next one would be out ... and he said that it sort of peaked his curiosity into what Indie would be doing... so he decided to make this film now .. hope this helps =) (it was all on an interview i saw on t.v. yesterday)

They are making Indiana Jones 4....how exciting...Steven Speilburg announced yesterday that it will be released in 2008 Who all out there is as excited about this as me Sean Connery will be Harrison's Father again.....I just love the series....I like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade the best... Comments I disagree...I liked Lethal Weapon 4.... I also think there is going to be a Die Hard 4....

Yes It is going to be an awesome movie. It starts filming in Spring 2007 for a Summer 08 release date. George Lucas has admitted that he is more involved in this one than the previous 3 combined. Sir Connery has not officially agreed to reprise his role but Lucas is convincing him and his character is being written into the script. ALSO In case you didn't know, the setting is the early 1950's. Indiana Jones is going down to the Amazon for one final quest to discover a secret society of year past. Accompanying him is his daughter. Rumor is that Natalie Portman (Star War prequels) will be playing his daughter. This movie is going kick $$
