Adorable doll for a toddler (12 months +)

This doll is a great first or second birthday gift. She is very cuddly - perfect for young toddlers. The age rating here says 3 years old, but I think it is better for younger kids.

The body is soft and the doll has a very sweet face. The eyes are very big. The doll has a cute belly button too. The bottle is nice sized and easy to hold. It is also attached, which is very helpful to avoid loss. When you twist the bottle to the right, the eyes close and when you twist it to the left, te eyes open. Because the doll is so easy to use and so cuddly, I think it is a great "first doll" choice.

Baby alive new born

Bought this for my granddaughter who just turned 3 for birthday. The doll is adorable...It has a bottle and when you put it in her mouth and turn the bottle her eyes go shut, like she is going to sleep. Granddaughter is very happy with it. Seems to be one of the better made dolls...

Perfect baby for my little baby

I let my daughter pick out her own doll (17 months) and she picked this one. She loves this doll. She can work the bottle and eyes and loves to sleep with it. It is just the right size for her to carry around and the bottle is attached so it doesn't get lost. This is a perfect first doll.

Good first "baby" doll for toddlers

I bought this doll for my 16 month old daughter who showed interest in giving her pacifier to another doll, so I figured we'd try this one out. She seems to like 'feeding' the baby and watching her go to 'sleep' and we both like the fact that this doll has a feature that closes/opens the eyes depending on which way the bottle is 'fed'. So far this doll has been a hit; it's soft body is fun to cuddle and carry, the eyes are cute and it's a good size, not too bulky. We give this one an A+++

I didn't find it worthy but most reviews says otherwise :). For me, it was irritating...

I bought it on the basis of positive reviews on various sites. I have 2yr old toddler girl who loves dolls. I thought it would be great fun for her as well as for us to watch the two interacting and playing together.
I opened the parcel on delivery and did the required steps which were easy enough and gave a name to the doll. Soon after that, the doll started furnishing the requests. Now, in the ads I have seen doll asking for things but it came as monotonous and repetitive. She just keep on asking things frustrating every one of us. Any yes, it's more a machine than a doll. It's every part is motorized so don't expect it to be loved by toddler as they normally do with a "normal" doll.

It`s a nice doll for a gift

Funny doll! Nice gift for my 4 years old daugther.

Perhaps the only downside is that after just 2 months of use started to sound weard around the shoulders and not having the same motion range for the arms. My daugther still enjoy the doll though

A new baby for my two year old daughter

I got this for my two year old daughter as she is growing into babies. She likes all the movement and noises she makes, as well as the doll has maganets in her hand so she can hold the blanket, teddy bear and bottle. My daughter loves it!!! A great baby doll.

We Love Her!

This doll is so sweet!! I think the specified age is 3+, but I got her for our 2 year old and was worried about her arms, which seem somewhat delicate, but after many months, she's still holding up. She says and does the sweetest things and I've been recommending her to everyone. I am a doll lover and have not found a cuter, interactive doll.

Sweet Doll

I got this doll for my 5yo daughter for Christmas (2007)
It was a compromise between the baby alive that poops Hasbro Baby Alive Doll, Caucasian and the sip and slurp Hasbro Baby Alive Sip 'N Slurp Caucasian Doll that isn't mechanical (= no batteries) Guess which one I wanted?
I decided that I could handle buying batteries as long as we didn't have to deal with the 'poop'.
It turns out she is very happy with it and I love the sweet baby noises that it makes. Doll is a little loud without clothes on (which is the state my daughter insists on keeping her in)because of the speaker on her tummy/chest.
She makes a funny mechanical sound right before 'peeing' which I guess is some sort of pump action, I don't know. I thought something was wrong at first but I think that's the way it works.
Overall I am happy with it and so is my daughter. It brings out the mommy instincts in her which I think is educational (as well as having to change diapers)

Love this toy

My daughter loves this doll! Great fun doll... of course I don't use the baby alive diapers because they are generally $1 a pice... so we use other things like newborn diapers and it is still fun... my little 2.5 year old will wrap up the diaper just Like I do when I used to change her. We love the doll, and the best part is... you can make it silent! so when you are sick of hearing it cry and giggle... you just turn her off. of course the best part is to see her pee... I think this will be a great help with potty-training her.

wet-n-wiggles baby alive

I have to say my daughter treats this doll like a real baby. She has set up a babysitter, feeding and sleeping schedules. It really teaches that taking care of a baby is a lot of work. I do recommend only using water in the bottle and premie diapers are a lot cheaper.

My girls love playing with this doll. The diapers would be too expensive to use all the time, so I made some washable diapers to fit it. My girls are happy because they can feed it as much as they want.

Very cute - but she scared my daughter at first

Baby Alive Wets and Wiggles is adorable. She has a very sweet face and makes really sweet coos and movements. Her bottle is very cute and her fingers and legs are soft. We bought this doll for our 3 year old. She immediately liked the big eyes and sweet sounds Baby Alive makes when you squeeze her bracelet. She also liked feeding her the bottle. Once Baby Alive cried we took off the diaper, just in time for the doll to pee on my daughter - the pee shot right out of the doll and onto my daughter's dress. My daughter freaked out and burst into tears and was afraid of the doll after that. She came around eventually after we told her that it was pretend pee and showed her that she had to wait a bit before taking off the diaper! Parents may want to test this out for themselves before showing the doll to young children to avoid them getting scared of the peeing action! The only other negative is that the doll is a bit heavy.

A good dolly

The doll is a good gift. My daughter has received one and I have now given two. Older toddlers and young girls really like them. Watch out though! The diapers easily tear and their replacements are expensive! I have invested in heavy duty double sided tape!

Great doll, but...

My daughter got this doll last year (2007) for easter and has carried it around since. Just today (1/28/08) I noticed that the fluid sucked into the doll was not coming back out. That is kind of gross, could lead to mold and mildew inside the doll. We threw it out and ran out to the store to get a new one, this time we won't use any liquids in it. Besides that, it is an adorable doll, and my daughter, who loves Star Wars, named her Leia.
After going to 2 different stores, I found 1 doll, my daughter had it for 3 days when the eyes broke. One was stuck open and one was stuck closed. Then the next day, the eye that was stuck closed had dropped into the head, talk about traumatic for a 5 year old. I proceeded to go to 3 different Target stores before being able to find a Caucasian one, this is the last chance. If this one breaks we are not getting the same thing again!

Not really a great toy. May a 2 yr girl would definately like it but aint so fun. It just pees out while its drinking. The only funny part is the mix that comes with the toy. It looks like real poopy. Your child would definately not play with it for long. It would have been better if it drinks first, holds it in its stomach and then pees out after sometime or may be with the press of a button or something of that kind. But you would find the diaper wet as soon as its done drinkin. You never even know what happened. Its more like a leakage toy rather than a peeing toy. I remember I bought a toy long back which would store water in its stomach and when someone pulls its pants down, it would pee on their face, that was fun.

My daughter loves this doll. But I must say it leaks. So if you trying to use it for potty training, keep that in mind. It was hard to get the doll to stay dry while wearing panties. If you plan to only use it with the diapers then it will be okay. I do like how it looks more like a toddler than other dolls that wet.

My daughter has really enjoyed playing with this doll. It is actually easy to use and fun to play with. The only downside is that it only comes with 2 packs of juice and that only lasts about a half a day! The juice replacements packs are very hard to find in the stores, so I have to create my own "juice" to give to the doll.
