psp

i recently brought the red slim god of war psp i can say it was great the god of war game was a great game and superbad the movie was even better and for sony to make a dark red psp was sweet and it fuctions much better than the old Fat 1001 models this is a must own for psp/sony fans.

A MUST HAVE!

Lets put it this way there is the 'Official' and then the 'Custom' version of PSP... And the Official version sucks... If you have your PSP just sitting gathering dust and utterly hate it... Maybe you should add a CFW to it... Without CFW PSP is utter junk... Lets just put it this way... With CFW you can play SNES, NES, GBA, GB, GBC, Genesis, MAME and others on the PSP...

First of all Amazon is frickin awesome! Second I am really surprised this thing is not killing the DS for sales. I own both a PSP and a DS and with exception that you cannot play mario,link&zelda, pokemon ect on the PSP the PSP is way better than the DS. My love for this thing started when I saw that you can browse the internet with this thing! Also it is very light and the graphics are gorgeous(considering that it is a lightweight handheld).Plus the online gaming is better and easier to use than the online play for the DS, so i give this 5 stars! Enjoy.

APPALLING CUSTOMER NON-SERVICE

I bought this game for my 7 year old. It has a lot of features that he can grow into. Unfortunately, after less than 5 hours of use it stopped working. It was less than a month old. I phoned sony customer "service" several times. They were very unhelpful, in fact quite rude on the phone. Their attitude was that it was no big deal and they would send me information on how to return it. They never did. So I went to the website and filled out a request to return the psp. An email from Sony said that they would be sending me information on how to return the psp. That was more than a week ago. So for the last 3 weeks, at a time when I really needed this game for my son, it has been inoperable. What happened to the day when if you bought something from a retailer and it broke almost immediatly, you just took it back and got a new one? To say that dealing with Sony has been frustrating is a wild understatement. I had been considering buying my son a new PS3 but I now know I will be geting him the Wii instead. This may be a great game. My brief experience with it was very positive. However. trying to replace a defective psp has been a truly awful experience and I'm sure Sony will lose market share once others reveal similar experiences.

Not as I expected

It is a hard pocket wich turns out to be very safe for your PSP. Even though to lock it, sometimes you have to take care with the adjustment of both parts. If you push forward even softly the upper part, for example, you may not lock it so easily. Overall, it is a cheap, good looking and safe pocket to travel with.

HORRIBLE case

This is a horrible case. Every time I drop the PSP, the PSP goes flying out of the case, the memory & battery go everywhere, and the miniCD cover gets knocked off. What's the point of a protective case that doesn't protect the PSP?

Also, the description says that you can listen to music while the case is closed... WRONG!

PSP Protective Case

This is perfect for putting your PSP in and then tossing it in your bag. However, unlike the Otter Box for the iPod, this does not protect against shock or water. Also, the PSP slim has a little jiggle room in the case so be careful, perhaps add something else for more padding.

The downside is that you can't use the device while it's inside, even if the lid is open. The charger jack is available, but the headphone/audio output jack is not. All in all, it's worth getting if you want something to hold your PSP while you're traveling about town.

The other protective (and perhaps more important) gear to get is the screen shield which protects against scratches.

I bought it and it's a good protection for the regular psp, and it was a shame, because I got the slim one ... So basically I use it like a travel protector.

Good deal.. nice game... interesting portable device

I got the Limited edition madden PSP as an intro to the system. Never played PSP but always was curious. Am going on a long trip this weekend so figured it would be a great time to get one. The game plays well, better then excepted and the PSP is cool. The blue is a fine color... The add ons didn;t blow me away... I would recomend this system to anyone who wants a PSP game system.

if you dont want to read a page long reveiw, my answer is: yes, great deal, great product.

now to the long stuff:
my 4 year old 1st version psp was getting lots of wear and tear. so i look up the 2nd version, slim and lite, on amazon. And i find this. at first, i thought there was a big logo on the back for madden, and not being a big football fan, i thought against purchasing it. but i look at the pictures, and where i expected to find a big helmet or something on the back, there was nohting, just shiny blue.

now on to madden: as you have read, im not a football fan. i am definatly not the "get the new version every year" kind of guy. but i try it, and it seems like they expected people to be new at it. They put a "rookie mode" to all the game modes, and its easy, fast, and fun gameplay.

beats: People dont really know what this is before they play it, so let me explain. Beats is like dance dance revolution max, press the button in sync with the music to score mega points. But beats adds something, you get to use your own music in your psp, whether its from a pc, or a cd. And in case you don't have any, they have pre-loaded tracks that will do until you get some. the game mode where you can make your own rythems is kinda comfusing, and i havent figured it out yet.

the movie: its basically a short doc. on fameous football players, so, that is really up for you to decide.

for the whole package:
pros-shiny blue, lightweight,durable, Madden 09 is user friendly, beats is good to pass the time,

cons:beats takes a long time to download from the ps store, beats can get a little tiring to your eyes and brain, and the movie ain't all that great.
